As a student in the early 70s I was glad I never came across Agnes Martin apart from the rare illustration in a book. If I'd have seen her work 'in the flesh' I would have been overwhelmed.

The exhibition in 2015 at the Tate did overwhelm me from time to time, such is the power of her work.

Inimitable of course, so how to pay homage? By ripping out a chapter of her biography (by Nancy Princenthal) of course, gridding them up and just using the verso pages...
